It began with a college project and seems to have picked up a bit of interest. Since it has been fantastic fun working with the singers and learning the songs, it would be great to keep going with the small seeds that have been planted so far.....
Our first Gig was at Upton Vale Baptist Church - which was exciting and I feel, went very well. There were 7 of us who had worked very hard over 4 or 5 weeks, giving up time and taking a good deal of effort to learn 20 new songs! But it was all very exciting putting together our music, getting a PowerPoint Operator and finding a professional Sound Engineer to help us out
The second gig was at the South Devon College in "the Street" - where all could see and hear us. We sang without microphones, and there were only 5 of us this time, but it was sufficient for the need.
All in all - the feedback was pretty positive and am looking forward to more opportunities to "sing a joyful song"....
.... Starting a new gospel choir - how exciting!
